We're already spending more than all other nations COMBINED on military. Where's the threat?

Can you say "military-industrial complex?"

For christmas this year I am thinking of making a paper mache santa and hanging it in my front yard with a noose... (Second question) Can you believe people would actually be more angered by the hanging of a fictional fat man than they would about a former world leader. I can't believe everyone is cheering for this. People are sick in the head. The death of Mabus will bring a horrible undoing of people and animals.

Come on, i know he did all that, and i aint saying he should not die, but HUNG? thats harsh, and he is probably repented. I think life in prison, or we should hand him over to IRAQ(OFFICIALS).
I Say he should not die, i guess im the only American with a heart.

It's going round that the Marines and the Army are nearly "broken" due to being run ragged, and it's late the game to build troop levels.Do you think the Govt. can get enough troops on an all volunteer basis in time? How many more do you think are needed?

I just read that Bush wants to send more people to Iraq, and says to be ready for more of our troops dying next year.

Thats not right, we shouldn't have to die for the worlds problems, let them deal with it, we have done more than enough.

Congress needs to step in and stop this war.

Our country is going to go broke fighting something that has nothing to do with us.

What do you think?

say...whenever I post something annoying about jews its censored on this website, whenever I post something about christians, its not.

Whenever I post something that disagrees with Israel's policies or US's policies toward Israel, it immidietly gets 4 thumbs down. Is this like a feeling of self-preservation or are they just too sensitive?

Is this one of those stories the media was hoping would have a climactic ending like the kid being pulled out of the well or the successful separation of conjoined twins? Do you believe that's the only reason they were hovering all over this one like vultures?

Why do we care about the lives and the rights of our enemies? Why are we too worried about offending someone or killing some "innocent" Iraqi/Muslim scum to properly fight the war we're in to defend the precious lives of our own citizens? Why don't we quit being a bunch of pansies and KILL/DESTROY our enemies before they destroy us? I'm sick of hearing people whine about what can we do to win in Iraq and change the backward, archaic, uncivilized structure of the middle east. We know what we can do, we've just become so nutless that we can't bring ourselves to do it. We need to show our enemies that we mean business and do what we have to do. No one fears us anymore because we're trying to be too nice. No one's ever won a war by being nice. We should take off the gloves and fight dirty. We ought to put aside the BS of piltical correctness, and we should destroy anyone who rises against us, screw diplomacy. These punks don't understand diplomacy, death is all they understand.

I'm a U.S. graduate student, but I've been keeping up with the murder case (it's quite fascinating; I've also read about the Peter Sutcliffe case and studied the big debates in prostitution/pornography) and just read about the issued injunctions. If the cornoner can't find a cause of death for three of the girls, how on earth might they have been killed? Poison?

It seems bizarre that they weren't raped, either. Or shot in the head and cut up. But maybe that latter is just an American thing.

A Conspiracy or what? Do you think we should be over in Iraq, to make people democratic, even if they don't want to be? What other things you thing America should be taking part in? What do you think about the Bush administration, and Bush's rejection to Rumsfeld advice, and now sending in more troops? Have you seen the movie Loose Change? Your opinions?! I am very curious!

I keep seeing questions pop up 'can you believe he didn't fire her' etc. Calling the current Miss USA who apparently has been lambasted for partying (something more of us than not did under the age of 21, even though we weren't supposed to)...but somewhere along the way she has gotten the label whore and bimbo from many of the y/a users...I'm confused...was there more to it than just drinking to excess? I thought she was only busted for her drinking? What'd I miss???

You're a mean one, Mr. Gingrich.
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. Gingrich.

Wasn't he the one who appointed special prosecutors for the white water probe that cost tax payers 14million dollars, found no wrong doing and lasted well after Clinton was out of office?
