I'm not anti-American, but I'm anti-administration. I love this country. I use my freedom of speech as much as I can. If anything, that's more pro-American that being afraid to speak out against the government/administration that I strongly disagree with. Creating discourse is more American than going with the flow. Following blindly is more communist.

I'm pro-American. Always have been, always will be. This is a great country. There has never been one like it before and there may never be another one again. You know what makes this country great? Raw opportunity. Nowhere else in the world can you accomplish what you can accomplish here. You can start off flat broke but with the right attitude and end up being a rich and accomplished person. By the same token you can decide that all you want to do is complain and whine and no one will stop you. You'll find millions of others who will commiserate with you yakking on a 24/7 basis about all the things that are wrong with America. The choice is always yours and hopefully it always will be.

Something about how we're fighting a war with no true cause, and has resulted in a quagmire and loss bigger than Vietnam.

Something about how the government did little to prevent 9/11, though they were keenly aware of it (and most likely conducted it, mind you).

Something about how the Katrina victims didn't receive help.

Definitely plenty of reasons to be Anti-American.

no it's because of all the America bashing that goes on in the news and politics,,, and it's American news people and American politicians that are doing it,,, go figure. Remember after 911 the news people wouldn't wear a simple flag pin because they were "world' news companies. This was ABC, NBC and CBS mind you. And they quit showing the buildings falling because it may offend some people!!!!!

I think its a sign that people are now thinking for themselves, rather than just blinding believing all they are told, or following a line of thinking that has been fed to them by their government. I also believe that it is the healthiest thing that has gone on in America for many, many years. People are now waking up, and seeing their country as the rest of the world sees it - a self involved propaganda machine. For too long now, the US has been obsessed with being the biggest, fastest and strongest...making them - in their eyes - the best. There is no room for a 'best' on this planet. We all share it. So don't be concerned with people who are now questioning and, perhaps, criticizing their country. Thats freedom of speech, afterall - right up there with the right to bear arms.

I don't think there are any anti-American Americans. There are, though, a multitude of us anti-Bush Americans. Unfortunately, some conservatives feel that if you're anti-Bush then you're anti-American. This is both illogical and more that a little stupid.
