Is this one of those stories the media was hoping would have a climactic ending like the kid being pulled out of the well or the successful separation of conjoined twins? Do you believe that's the only reason they were hovering all over this one like vultures?

All it is is drama, what do alot of Americans thrive off.... Drama! It is horrible they have been missing for days, but, in my opinion they shouldn't have gone this time of year, I am still hopefull they will find the remaining two men alive and well.

nope its because the part of the government thats having problems is the democrats and they want to keep it as hush hush as possible so there isn't as much news to report and its a long running story so they will fill the time they would use for government problems with the Mt hood reports too so it gets alot more time
I'm sorry to say the 2 climbers are probably dead and we won't find them until the snow melts end of story oh and tax payers we need 30 billion dollars for the planes and helicopters that helped in the search now pay up

Are you kidding me???? This is EXACTLY the kind of stuff that the news media live for!!! Its dramatic. And isn't it better that they be concerned with the lives of a few climbers, rather than the reign of Miss America, or Paris Hilton or Oprah Winfrey?
