Today, e.g. , "Israeli Tank fire kills l4-year old Palestinian boy in an OFFENSIVE move", and other news...The Israeli military has been pressing an "OFFENSIVE" in Gaza since June. OR "Israel to begin "OFFENSIVE" ground assault by bombing Gaza bridges" OR "more than 80 Palestinians killed in Israeli OFFENSIVE."

yet Palestinian responses to Israeli attacks, are classified as "violence" or "terrorist acts."
Killing is violence no matter who pulls a trigger, throws a stone, or rolls a tank into an occupied apartment.

And its all about land, or so we are led to believe.
Still, this conflict exists it appears, because Israel and Palestine each believes different versions of the same history regarding land rights. And so they fight like little chldren, and kill and maim and refuse to give in
Its ALL violence.
and please. No knee-jerk reactions. I'Im on NEITHER side.

I'm just curious about this very obvious play of words and definitions.

I mean, there are serial killers and people who hurt babies. They're nuts. But to fly planes into buildings, burning hundreds of people -- and yourself -- to death? I don't get it. Why. Really, why? Just to get 75 virgins? Because we're the infidels? To have an all-Muslim world?

I should be more worried than anyone out there about these things, and I could care less. It will be pretty strange/sad to look out the window tomorrow :( They unfurled a huge flag right-side
up in our lobby today. God bless all those who passed on and their
loved ones five years ago(oh my god, was it already 5 years!).
It's one of those things like Kennedy's assassination, where you never forget where you were when it happened(I was watching TV
in the living room, a day after I got back from a Las Vegas vacation,
laying on the couch), and it is a timeless part of our collective mental mindscape. Lots of love to all of you out there...let's make it mean something, and try being a little extra kind to each other
tomorrow......Love and brotherhood always conquers hate and war...never forget that!

is anyone else starting to get confused when people throw around the words 'conspiracy theorist'. i never know who people are referring to. its hard to know whether or not someone is talking about people that speak about 9/11 truth or people that clench to a conspiracy theory that a man hiding in a cave masterminded a conspiracy which involved a bunch of hijackers carrying boxcutters that were somehow able to get NORAD to stand down

I really don't think it necessary, unless you have pre-existing conditions, like a missing kidney or lung or somthing! At worst,
if something bad happens, you can go to your local county hospital
and wait in line with the illegal aliens in the ER. Hey, look on the bright side, and look at it as a great opportunity to brush up on your spanish!
