Obviously you ask a serious question, that you don't want silly answers to, but "important" is relative and subjective.
Certainly if you haven't been in a coma, you can pretty much answer this yourself,,,no offense meant.
For me, and likely many others who "wander in" important is more personal, localized, not strictly global. IE: Gasoline prices seem to be globally important, yet at the same time very personally impactful as well.
I live in the USA, but stay as far away from global issues as I can because my microcosim, is basically pretty well confined at the moment,,,and I work hard at not stressing before A FACT, or stressing over THINGS, not directly in my area of control,,,like my example above.
Libraries,,,by the way,,,if you haven't been "keeping up" do have film type machines,,,and I bet even computers, that in doing a general search in a browser, using key words, might give you WAY more than 3, on a serious level you might be seeking for an assignment.

One event last week was the Bush Administration decided to allow 15,000 or 50,000 Middle Eastern students, which is going to be only males since females are not allow to further their education by going to University this year. That means more opportunity for terrorist attacks throughout the United States of America. Now instead of so call fighting war of terror oversea, we will be fighting war of terror here throughout the United States.
