I live at Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast, where his body was kept before burial. I have heard his family had a service at the mortuary chapel then his body was taken out to Australia Zoo where he was buried. This happened on saturday night Australia time. It was a private family and close friends affair. Steve loved the zoo and I think it is great it will be his final resting place. We have just heard on local radio his family held a fireside memorial remembering all the good things about Steve and he is being buried at Australia Zoo. A public memorial will be held next week in Brisbane.

Although Arial shots of his property showed a marquee and about 30 chairs, so it is is possible that the service was conducted at the property also.
The family / or manger, is believed to be giving a statement today, to confirm the funeral, and to confirm when the memorial wil be held.
He was burried at his property at the Australian Zoo..
A memorial service is believed to be held in the coming week or so, That is believed to be televised
