It was around 1200 for the death toll, there are still so many unaccounted for due to decomposition etc. Only 35% of the city of New Orleans is back home (most want to stay in Houston.) I still haven't seen a total to repair but it is in the 100's of millions if not more! and the state is suffering throughout all parishes. We feel the effects of that, whether it is crime, lack of housing, lack of jobs, but most of all lack of leadership.
