Which words in a question have you learned are really codes for ongoing arguments? My examples are “Darwin”, “Liberals”, ”Islam”, “Mexicans.” Do you skip those questions or do you relish answering them? Do those questions bore you or entice you?

This is my first question so I am guessing the right category for it since it hits several popular topics

Steve Irwin was a great person, and the world has suffered a great loss. It's unfortunate what happened. Steve did say that when he died that he wanted it to be taped. It was taped. I think it would be really cool to see his last contribution. It's unfortunate though that we wont get to see him say Cricky one last time.

Doctors and health officials say they are overwhelmed by both the new arrivals and those immigrant mothers who already are in the state. Even Houston's feeling the pinch. An estimated 70 percent to 80 percent of the 10,587 births at Ben Taub General Hospital and Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital last year were to undocumented immigrants, administrators say.

Also feeling the strain is Starr County, an already poor South Texas county that has the region's only taxpayer-supported hospital district.

Immigrants "want a U.S.-born baby" and know that emergency room staffers don't collect any money up front, said Dr. Mario Rodriguez, an obstetrician in Starr County.

"The word is out: Come to Starr County and get delivered for free. Why pay $1,000 in Mexico when you can get it for free?" Rodriguez said.

Starr County Memorial Hospital had $3.6 million in uncollected medical bills in 2005, up from $1.5 million in 2002. The total when fiscal 2006 ends on Sept. 30 is expected to hit $3.9 million, chief financial officer Rafael Olivarez said. Unpaid bills for the past five years will reach nearly $13 million, he said.

To make up for the shortfall, Starr County's hospital district is proposing a 25 percent tax hike.

This is the POPE u like, who caused fights around the world, who said wrong and bad things about Islam, don’t tell me that was a quotation form a man form the 14 century cause I know it was but that does mean the words r right and does not give the right for the pope to say what he feels like, he is not a child, he is a pope who caused fights, fires, hate, and angriness around the world, isn’t the Christianity all about peace, ya and the pope shown how peaceful it is. this religion is peaceful im not saying the opposite but ur pope did .now the THAWAHRY from Al-Quieda u don’t know, he said last night at internet and TV that he heard what the pope said, and that he could response badly for what he said, and even hurt him a, dn we all know that thawahry can do what he says, anyway but the thawahry said ill be the better side, the charity and peaceful side not because I want to no, I actually descries what the pope said, but because what Islam asked me to do, peace and helpful, forgiveness and charity so I wont hurt the pop, ill just ask him to think about what he said and to be true to him self, im asking the Christians and the Jew around the world to think of turning to Islam not at Islam, and one more thing>did u know why the pope said what he said?? Because 30 of what u call "fathers' and friends of the pope at the Vatican became Muslims and left Christianity because Islam is the perfect religion, so the pope was so mad, well Muslims r thankful for those 30 X fathers for using their minds
The question is, does thwahry deserve hate? be open minded and answer with else words not just no or yes, e explain

hi,

should we invest money and fight

1) terrorists, militants and gurella fighters, (these people who does not belong to human beings category can only kill only few 100's... or probably few 1000's). ofcourse these should be dealt with properly and eliminated from society.

2) viruses, bacteria, cancer cells.....etc.......etc.....etc (these kill millions of people DAILY.)

so whom should be our target ? are we miscalculating this thing terribly wrong and investing billions of dollars in first one ?

what do you think ?

And while we're at it how about if we build sniper towers every few feet or so to pick off every man, woman, and child that tries to cross, thinks about trying to cross, or even so much as makes a casual glance in the general direction of our border? If they're really such inhuman monsters as some of you are making them out to be, is it really that extreme of an idea?

I'm doing some research. I know that over appr. 45,000 people have been killed in the war in Iraq. (Please let me know if this figure is off) But I'm trying to find the total death toll caused by Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden. Does anyone know the figure or where I could find the information?

Do you think the death toll caused by Al Qaeda is substantially lower than 45,000??

Thanks for your help!!

First let me say that I have nothing against Mexicans or wanting a better life - I'm not a racist. I do have a problem with ILLEGAL entry into the country. It's a sad fact that when people hear about illegal immigrants, they automatically think of "Mexicans" just as they think of a middle easterner when they hear the word "terrorist". That's just the way it is, I'm not saying it's right. Ok that said...what about this idea. What if the USA said anyone here illegally can become a citizen they just have to join the military. They would learn how to speak english, learn a trade, and earn money to send to their families. They should have to do 1-2 years in Iraq. This would allow many of the men over there now to come home as their terms keep getting extended due to "stop loss". I think it would be a fair way for anyone to EARN citizenship and respect for doing so.

I'm sick of their ignorant BS. Maybe they should try spouting off their load of crap to some of the victim's families. I bet they'd get a real quick @ss beating. They are being disrespectful.
