I just experienced the biggest earthquake of my life.It happened in school at around 9:00 this morning here in Trinidad.Thank Allah that everyone is alright.I was on the second floor of my school when it happened.I literally felt as if someone was holding me and shaking me.I was so scared and shockingly calm.I can't give all the details cause I'm still in shock.
So anyone out there who has experienced anything like this before? How was it?

article said, "Sheriff Fred Wegener says Morrison molested all six girls and sexually assaulted at least two of them."

What's the difference?

What a horrible situation for everyone. Let's pray for the families.

From today’s news reports, “Congress has now approved $507 billion for Iraq, Afghanistan and heightened security at overseas military bases since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, according to the Congressional Research Service. The war in Iraq has cost $379 billion and the conflict in Afghanistan now totals $97 billion." So what else could that money have been spent on?

> provided
16,010,746
students four-year scholarships at public universities.

Have we made our point in IRAQ, and it's time to settle for
PEACE? Or will it be a mistake allowing CIVIL WAR to erupt?

This is very, very hard to answer. Its a great challenge to really get inside your own head, and answer this fully.....
You can break it into a few smaller questions.
1.) Am I working in the job or career path I want? If so, and I moving fast enough. Am I just making time?
2.) Do I have truly good friends? Do I have a good mate? If you
have a FAMILY, is it the type you thought you'd have when you were younger? Do you feel suffocated, or are you thrilled, or somewhere in bewteen?
3.)Am I broadening my mind, or have I been brain-dead since graduation(high-school,college, etc.). Do I read, am I learning
new things, broadening my prespectives, travelling to new places,
or just to the corner bar or store?
4.) Do I waste time imbibing mass media garbage, like the mildless new latest movie, DVD release, or brain-dead TV show?
Or can I go to more live theater, have more real conversations
with more interesting people, travel more, see more museums?

Do you REALLY know yourself?HMM?

By Arwa Damon CNN
"Where will you escape Umm Luma? Await the rage, the slaughter and the murder.

The threat was signed by the Brigades of Death, a Sunni extremist group. Like similar organizations, it claims Iraqi Shiites are conspiring with the Americans.

But Umm Luma had no political affiliations and neither do they, her relatives said. They said they had no enemies.

The family fled nonetheless, even though no one -- least of all Umm Luma -- thought the note-writers would kill a woman. The false sense of security led Umm Luma home after a week.

On September 16, she left the house to buy bread for breakfast and a car drove up. Someone inside called her name.

"Are you Umm Luma?" asked a man in the car.

"Yes, dear. What would you like?" Umm Luma responded.

The first bullet ripped through her arm, knocking her to the ground, said Rafal. The man, who couldn't have been older than 18, then exited the car and shot Umm Luma four more times.

I saw my mother on the street. I picked up her brains with my own hands and wrapped it," Osama said, repeating the words, "picked up her brains."

If your child was murdered - would you want justice? Well it's been 11 years and still nothing?
My friend Deanna Cremin was murdered 11 years ago. She was found strangled just one block from her house. We are gathering signatures to try to have her story aired on COLD CASE FILES. We are hoping these signatures will have an impact on the decision of airing it. PLEASE HELP US! We have until OCTOBER 1st to have 4000 signatures and we need less than 200. We are having a silent march for Deanna that day and there will be media there. It would be great to have 200+ people there with 4000 signatures saying something needs to be done about this UNSOLVED MURDER! Please send the link to everyone you know....It's not a scam...google Deanna's name and you will see it's unfortunately true OR you may go to her WEB SITE:

http://www.deannacremin.org/

PLEASE GO TO THIS LINKS BELOW AND SIGN OUR PETITION. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! MAY GOD BLESS YOU!

Is the newspaper really true? Or is it fake? Or is it just a crime blotter in the guise of a newspaper? Sometimes I think the latter,
as there seems to be nothing but shootings and beheadings in ours(maybe saying I live in Chicago explains the shootings,
and the war in iraq explains the beheadings!)

SO, do you believe the paper or what?

of cheating... ID 'nerdterminator619' seems to have got all its 80 + 'best answers' exclusively from IDs:
tony b
chefjordan
billaden
assas s

Heres the kicker, all of the 'questions' are cloned from earlier posted questions - without alteration and ALL of the best answers are simply nerdterminator writing 'only god knows'.

This practice of cheating is ruining this forum. Unless YOU stand up like me and complain about it, ultimately this community will destroy itself.

The coup was welcomed by the King of Thailand and backed by most of the people - is it not hypocritical or an act of bullying on the part of the US to impose sanctions when it has no direct affect on its citizens or national interests. The coup was by all accounts bloodless with the former PM out of the country and who has beel alleged to have been thoroughly corrupt, whereas the US has a history of distablisation of democratically elected countries leading to vast amounts of bloodhsed...(viz. most Central and South American countries for starters - e.g. backing of the Cotnras in Nicaragua) so why do they feel they have the right?

Account ID 'Ellie29uk' has asked 66 questions. I counted that this ID selected 58 best answers for the ID of 'Zulu9'. In some cases, the answer of ID Zulu9 has simply been a "." when other people who have answered in good faith have been ignored.

This is plain evidence of Cheating on Yahoo Answers. What can be done about it? (I will avoid answering any questions by 'Ellie29uk' cause the winner will always be 'Zulu9'. I will also avoid questions / answers by 'Zulu9'. That Account holder is a cheat who I have reported to Yahoo abuse today.)

Cows from space have invaded Earth and are hypnotizing people so that they see only the color purple.
Latest reports indicate that they are here to protest the non-planet status of Pluto by making crop circles in the shape of a giant "P".
Details at eleven.
