Account ID 'Ellie29uk' has asked 66 questions. I counted that this ID selected 58 best answers for the ID of 'Zulu9'. In some cases, the answer of ID Zulu9 has simply been a "." when other people who have answered in good faith have been ignored.
This is plain evidence of Cheating on Yahoo Answers. What can be done about it? (I will avoid answering any questions by 'Ellie29uk' cause the winner will always be 'Zulu9'. I will also avoid questions / answers by 'Zulu9'. That Account holder is a cheat who I have reported to Yahoo abuse today.)

Thats just it. I feel bad for the people who take their time to answer a question posted by a cheat. This has happened to me as well. I want the practice stopped and the more of us that complain about it, the more likely something will be done about it. In the long term, cheating like this will destroy this forum because the cheat typically posts a pointless question. That is exactly why there are so many pointless questions posted every hour i think.
I had to open a new ID, otherwise I would be targeted by the cheat i have identified.

I'm not sure which is worse the cheat or the cheated, this is a private vendetta you have and you have completed the report which will be actioned by yahoo, so let go, this advertising the fact is either a bulling tactic or a cry for help from yourself, because you feel unpopular, either way I think you as bad as the cheat....
grow up.

Yep its all wrong. You see some people have 2 yahoo accounts lets face it its not hard to set up 2 is it. They will then go into one account ask a load of questions go into there other account answer all those questions. Then they will go back into the first account and select best answer to all there own answers from there 2nd account therefor giving that account more points. Before you select your best answer just hae a look at the persons profile and make sure that they look ligit.

Unfortunate, but true, there are many cheaters, not just on answers, but in the game rooms too. It is childish, it is for entertainment purposes. Maybe they want to get a used, chewed pencil for the points they accumulate LOL. Reporting it, I have found, is pretty useless. They will just create an alternate ID. I stay away from the ppl I see doing it.

yes it is wrong but no one really cares including yahoo. They will send her a cut and paste letter and allow it to contuine. If you check 95% of those are level 7 it would be the same things or friends helping friends. They don't have a life and need to cheat to think they have one

Okay. I hate it when people ruin second accounts for others by cheating with theirs. Grr. Some people post under two ids but don't answer their own questions or select their own best answers. But you apparently found one who did. *sigh*

It seems sad that you are getting so upset about this. Can't you channel your feelings elsewhere?
So what if these people want to play games?
If you learn something from other peoples answers is that not the main thing?
Just ignore them and do your own thing.
PS
What you have done, by reporting them, is definately the right way to go.

It seems that Yahoo Answers actually mirrors real life! In real life some people cheat like hell don't they? But how much fun are they having, really? Points are meaningless if they are stolen points, unless you are playing "Whose Line is it Anyway?" LOL

Will you give us a chance to look into this in more detail.
Don't think that nothing is being done and there is monitoring going on as we speak.
If something offends you report it instead of complaining on this which is a Q.A site only.

Who does this person think they are fooling. Trying to impress a bunch of people he/she has never met with statistics no one cares about outside the community. What a sad little life.
