Haha!! That is kind of funny! I doubt that it will get that extreme, but it does seem like it sometimes!...lol

Because congress doesn't have the guts to set up the expenditures for a wall. No one is talking about putting sniper towers up, but with as many times as the Mexican army has crossed into this country over the last year it might need some consideration.
There have been AT LEAST 70 peace officers killed by illegal aliens over this year (including the officer that was just killed in Houston last week). They aren't monsters but they are criminals, and since there are enough other than Mexicans that are crossing the border (I've read reports of SD's finding Iranian military equipment along the border) that to protect this country we should do something.
Even in the 19th century we screened immigrants that came into this country. By allowing 11 million non-American criminals to flaunt our laws, to be intellectually honest and fair we have to stop enforcing all law. This leads directly into anarchy. Which of course leads directly into a totalitarian state, because at some point citizens will cease their willingness to live in fear. Creating a vaccum for a strongman like stalin to take over.

I hate the idea of a fence but also hate the crime and drugs. I wish we were smart enough to figure out a way to solve the problem. What if we could help and encourage Mexico to make Mexico a better place for it's people to live. I can't see why they still have people living in hovels with no water or plumbing. There is a lot of money funneling into Mexico through it's people living here, and it's increased business and it's oil. The Mexicans I know are good hard working people and I would never deny them a chance to live here but the dopers, gangs, criminals, etc. should be sent home to stay.

Mine fields, much cheaper, leave a few fake "Safe Passage" maps scattered around, grow fruit outside of the parameter for the picking. Problem solved ! They are not the great workers they claim to be either, I saw a contractor pick one up the other day at "Homey depot" and the illegal wanted $100 a day, breakfast AND lunch, the contractor told him "The guy just laughed, You're hardly in a position to negotiate, (and you're negotiating with a New Yorker), I'll give you $40 for the day, and breakfast, take it or leave it, I can get anyone to shovel sheet rock", he jumped in the truck.

A 700 mile fence has already been approved by Congress!
Get this:
"No one knows how much it will cost, but a separate bill also on the way to the White House makes a $1.2 billion down payment on it."

That actually doesnt sound like a bad idea. But as far as our beaches...we can build a wall somewhere out in the ocean. So the people who DESERVE to be in this country can still enjoy a fun day at the beach.

If the employers that utilize illegals were punished, the BS would stop. Although, your idea isn't that bad.
