Ok, if John Karr's DNA was never tested against the DNA found on JonBennet how would they be able to rule him out? Now everyone is complaining that it was a big waste of time. Uh, if someone confesses to a crime I hope they're going to check his DNA. What do you think?

I've wondered how the storm monikers affect the popularity of a name. For example, if you were pregnant at this time last year and considering naming your baby Katrina because it has always been your FAVORITE name, wouldn't you have reconsidered?

Personally I would go to Cuba, nice weather, cool 50's cars, nice people, great FREE health care and education, what more could you ask for in a nation? I dont really care about the communist thing, it seems to work pretty well there (please dont start ranting about communist failures in the USSR, that system wasnt communism in the marxist sense, no nation ever has been, USSR was Stalinist) Anyone else got a view on where they wanna live?

the mcnaughtan rule was defined as "to establish a defense of insanity, it must be proved that at the time of committing the act, the party accused was laboring under such a defect of reason, from disease of the mind, as to not know the nature and quality of the act he was doing, or if he did know it, that he did not know he was doing something wrong."

so my question is... how is it possible that we as a society can even consider allowing this plea to be made?.....i mean we find hinkley not guilty by reason of insanity for trying to kill reagan but dahmer we find sane for murder, necrophelia and cannibalism!.....if the mcnaughten rule is true then what hope do we have for our country against criminals?...how easy is it to use this defense to skirt doing time in prison or even on death row?...Somebody tell me that fruitcake karr is not using the insanity plea!

Israel has used cluster bombs in lebanon. This bomb's use in civilian areas is illegal, but was nevetheless used in Lebanon. The UN is now condeming Israel for having used these weapons in civilian areas. The problem now is that there are hundreds and hundreds of small, unexploded cluster bombs, waiting to explode when kids or civilians who return to their war torn homes get next to it accidentally.
The think that is mostly shocking is that Israel used these bombs at the end of the war, when a peace deal was nearing.
for a proof of my claims, please check the link below, it's from BBC, a good source.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/5299938.stm

So what do you think? did Israel did wrong? if you think not, can you tell me why? Can you tell me why you would defend a country that uses weapns like cluseter bombs in civilian areas?
