yes i did... in second grade we were assigned to make something out of newspaper and tape, so we could later on we could papaer mache it. i made a monkey and i thought it was the best thing in the world.. my teacher went up to my desk and ripped of the head and told me it wasnt good enough.. i cried sooooo much... my mom and dad and sister yelled at her soooo much.... alot of parents around us started to accuse her of being a bad teacher.... its little things like that that can change things... it was worth it... if you are with a terrible teacher or your kid has a terrible teacher and has done rude things, you should tell someone... if you dont want to make a scene, somehow get another teacher to notice.... it works all the time!!! hope this helps!!

One of my children had a teacher physically assault him and leave marks. It was reported to the police and children's services. There was an investigation, and in the end, all they did was move the hotheaded teacher to teaching a fifth grade class, and she was told she had to stay away from him under order. She is still employed in the school. Nothing was done about it. It was her word against a five -year -old's. The school would not allow the social worker or detectives to question the other children who witnessed the event. In the end, all we had were the pictures they took, and a very angry case worker who was unable to convince the police to take action. There have been other incidents I have heard about through the grapevine, but the teacher had them all squashed with her little teacher's union.
(The teacher's son was in her class with my son! He had been reported by two parents for bullying and assaulting our children. She found out my son was one of the children who told and corroborated the other children's stories. It was retribution, and she twisted his arm around and dug her nails in till he bled, and told him not to even ever say her son's name again.)

i might communicate to the crucial approximately this as quickly as attainable. babies should not be dealt with like that and by using no potential at school. If the crucial does not take the situation heavily then communicate to an administrator interior the college district. 2 factors nevertheless until now you communicate to them...a million. have the skill to needless to say clarify why the habit of the instructor became unacceptable and a couple of. precisely what you need carried out approximately it. in case you do no longer already understand those 2 factors in a manner you could gently and clearly exhibit then some administrations will brush it off and learn you to easily be a hysterical mom.

My elder son's 4th grade teacher decided she didn't like the way he kept his desk. It was very messy. So, in front of the whole class, she dumped everything from his desk onto the floor, almost ruining some of his school supplies. I went to see her. Told her that her behavior was inappropriate. She was an adult, a teacher. Someone you hope your children will look up to. That I would not tolerate her behavior toward my child or another in her class. I told her if I heard she'd done something similar to my son or another student I would go to the principle. Things went much better the rest of the year.

My niece had a teach who favoured the boys in everything. My sister went to the principal and asked her to be moved to another class. The principal refused so my sister took her daughter out of school and, within a week, the other girls parents took their daughters out of school and the principal put them in a different class away from the teacher and left her only with the boys.

Oh, and the following year the teacher didn't work there anymore.

you can either do exactly what they require class wise, do what i just mentioned and inform superior at school or try to get moved to another class

Either one of these solutions will work in most cases, but it also depends on what the problem between student and teacher is specifically

I've had everything from an older teacher not appreciating the fact that I was the only sophomore in a senior trig class ; to a racist teacher who didn't want me to graduate ..which I did and as valedictorian.

and if those solutions don't work try homeschooling if child is under hs age or independant study if hs age ...you can work at your own pace

Bad teachers are out there.

Big job - little pay, so that is what you get sometimes.

Move your child to another class if the teacher cannot even reason to you or at least make you feel comfortable leaving your child with him/her. Go to the school and check in and see what is going on.

Either a lot of parents need to complain or you need proof to present to the School that the teacher shouldn't be teaching the children or they won't do very much, maybe the principal will talk to them or something, but that may not help.

a science teacher that we had for a few weeks.... one of the lads brought in a pet white rabbit to see if the teacher could heal it....two days later the pelt of the white rabbit was hanging on the back of the store room door... needless to say we never heard from that teacher again once the word got around.

Well, i had a really bad teacher in fourth grade. I cried myself to sleep most nights. My parents said that you learn more from a "strict" teacher. She was a nightmare, but I didn't do anything except tough it out.
