Prescot, building started, Americans think they have it. How sleaze wins. They should be thrown out of the contest. The person who will decide is a Prescot side kick, come on how currupt is this.

The authority that regulates IVF has said lesbian couples should be given the treatment. Is it not a fact that any species that procreate needs a male and female. I have nothing against gay or lesbians but I feel that nature should be the decider in who bears children not some government quango. There are many normal couples desperate for children. I also believe children should be brought up in a normal family of a father and mother.

if the citizens were really a priority to the U. S. government that city would have been rebuilt by now. there are people still living and dying in shelters with not enough food and water and medical supplies. it is a pathetic sad look at reality in the U. S. and President Bush, "you suck. wake up and help your people" ........... from Lennerd ( * O * )!!!!

I understand the tradgedy of New Orleans, I live in Louisiana but does anybody remember that Mississippi was almost blown off the map?? I'm from MS. I lived on the Gulf Coast and there is absolutly nothing left of my old stomping grounds. I just wish Mississippi could get a little more "News" coverage. New Orleans' problems came from the levee...Mississippi was from the Hurricane, "Katrina". I guess since Mississippi folks don't constantly have their hand out begging for help from the world they just don't get noticed. Thanks for allowing me to blow off just a little bit of steam.

The Jon Bene Ramsey case has reminded me of an abduction that took place in my home town when I was young. A four-year old boy named Michael Dunahee dissappeared and has never been found. If he is still alive, which is possible, he would be a teenager. Of all the cases involving missing or murdered children in the world this is the one that I most wish were solved.

Is there a similar case in your community that you care a lot about?

I understand that a lot of the people affected were poor blacks, but where were all the black people around the country? Where was the black church? They saw the same images on TV as everyone else.

It seems like the media portrayed this as white racism and imcompetence by Bush yet New Orleans has been under democratic control for years and the corrupt political system mismanaged government money designated for improving the levee infrastructure.

So am I missing something or is this katrina thing just another spin by the left wing media and Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the others who have become rich profiting off of claims of racism? Has the real problem been over looked?
