If you mean will there be other catastrophic hurricanes like the one that hit New Orleans--yes there will be. Global warming is making that more of a reality.

of course it will happen again. if not in New Orleans, it will strike somewhere else. Isn't it a bit presumptuous to believe that we can tame nature? we can only do so much! so let's prepare as best as we can (to prevent, to rescue, to repair...) and we should also learn to accept that we are not invincible and nature can give us a serious painful wake-up call. All my sincere sympathy to victims of natural catastrophe.

If they keep on dancing on the street like fools on Fat tuesday , unfortunately yes. I live in the only other city in North America under sea level, so I sympathize. I think our city's turn is coming soon too.

I hope not!!!! Where I live we have tornadoes - there was a really bad tornado in 1997 - this guy got hit and lost everything and so he moved about 100 miles away and just yesterday - he got hit again and lost everything. (Try not to be his neighbor - you might run into a tornado)

Hurricane Katrina was not the first time.
Hurricane Betsy was the first, so I suppose it can certainly happen yet one more time

I pray that it doesn't. and hopefully our president won't ignore the call like he did with Katrina. next time instead of waiting on paperwork, hopefully his dumbass will send help.
