k im a guy and this morning i got into a confrentation with this girl and she punched me in the jaw and then i walked away and so she came after me and started punching me and i kept waling until they broke it up. was i right to do do

You would have been more of a gentleman if you had avoided the confrontation. Wasn't worth the results, hey......
Next time "THINK" before you confront someone or participate in someone confronting you.
That is the time to walk away, not after you've instigated the issue.
