Ok, if John Karr's DNA was never tested against the DNA found on JonBennet how would they be able to rule him out? Now everyone is complaining that it was a big waste of time. Uh, if someone confesses to a crime I hope they're going to check his DNA. What do you think?

It definitely was not a waste of time. The media rushed the story out and got us all hyped up and now they are bashing those people, who are simply doing their job. The media blew the story way out of proportion.

You are exactly right, they had to rule John Karr out and they have. The interesting thing is that this guy did know details that were never revealed to the public (hard to believe I know). But if in fact John Karr does know these things, then it's possible that he has had contact with the killer. These sick people are a very tight knit group who enjoy trading pictures, stories, etc.

John Karr may yet have a positive role to play in resolving this terrible crime. It might be the only useful purpose left for his life.

Some DNA tests take a few days or more to replicate enough DNA to have accurate results. So even if they wanted to check the DNA right away, you may have the sort of delay we have seen in this case.

He seemed suspiciously like an attention-getter and not the real culprit from day one. He was just too calm in interviews.

They are making it a big deal cause although he admitted to doing it he didn't.

they should have tested it first - now the people who made the big announcment that they have the killer look like fools.
