I have seen very covincing evidence and heard firefighters accounts of bombs going off all over the building, There are even videos showing demolition squibs going off as the towers fell!!! Then when the support beams were uncovered the found them severed at an angle commonly used in demo!!! clean cut steel supports??? makes me ask some questions!! How about molten steel that should not have melted unless a heat source much more powerful that jet fuel!! Thermite and thermate traces were found on the beams. I would love to believe my government but their story doesn't fit at all!!!

It may have been a wonderful symbol of reconcilation from the Arab world that might signal a much-needed end of the so-called "Islamist" jihad against America and our endless war on terrorism too . . .

The reason I ask, is because several news stories recently have had facts that have later been proven false. The one that is most alarming is the Jena Six storyline, I have heard from real sources, complete and totally opposite stories. I am not interested in arguing about which ones are true, what I am interested in is do you think its ok for the media to give false information yet remain immune under the guise of free speech? In this situation, the newspaper that lied caused one of two things, either they inflamed racial hostility with a misleading story that makes whites look racist, or, the other newspaper slandered 6 kids. Personally I think the media has gone too far. Liars should be put out of business. Problem is I dont know which is true, and neither does anybody else, except maybe the people that live there, and they might not even know at this point.

mel gibson made a few comments about the jews and liberals demand his head. don imus made an off color remark on the radio and he has been hogtied and whipped by the liberal media since. micheal richards made an angry slur at black hecklers and liberals freak out. trent lott made a birthday toast to strom thurmond and liberals demand his firing. and john rocker made a few nasty remarks about immigrants and he got booed at every game he played.

yet kathy griffin made a nasty offensive hateful remark at christians and liberals say she's "she's exercising her freedom of speech" .

i don't want to get into a religious debate with this question, i'm just asking. doesn't this prove that liberals are total hypocrites when it comes to free speech? if you condemn hate speech from one side but excuse the other, you are being a hypocrite.

why weren't the above mentioned "exercising their freedom fo speech"?

With tv, newspapers, and the radio among others wanting to carry the news everybody hears first, is it unrelyable? I couldn't tell you how many times they changed the death tool after the minnesota bridge collapse. Same with events happening it in Iraq and what happened with Hurricane Katrina. So when we don't recieve the information correctly it throws off the perspective we have on the situation making us to react differently than if we heard the news without bias and factual information only, Right?

I’m currently overseas and haven’t been keeping up with all the domestic news, but I saw something the other day about blacks protesting the trial of the “Jena 6” in Louisiana.

Let me see if I have the story correct. There was a tree under which some white kids liked to hang out. One day a black kid came along and asked if he could hang out under the tree. The white kids said yes, but the next day hung a hangman’s noose from the tree.

Tensions rose and sometime later a fight broke out in the school cafeteria between some black kids and some white kids. One white kid was knocked out and six black kids continued to beat his unconscious body.

So now the six black kids are on trial for assault and the black community thinks that is a bad thing.

Did I miss anything?
