It's a war on an idea, just like the war on drugs is. It's unwinnable because nobody actually knows who the enemies are or even where they are. Unlike a real war, there are no battles or nations involved. Terorrists come in all shapes and sizes. Anybody who wants to spread fear and distrust is a terrorist. You can't fight a war against that without hurting a lot of innocent people.

Well no matter what has happened in the past, I can say that as of TODAY, the world is in a very serious predicament, as it's all become a balance of power between Israel and the Palestinians, except that now, I am almost certain every government worldwide has something invested in this war, because it seems that some things have never changed, and it's likely that China/Russia/Korea etc. has an interest in defeating Israel and "the west" and of course America and it's allies seem to have an interest in Israel and thus all those middle eastern countries and people insanely don't care about living or dying just that they die fighting for their ideals and so war will carry on for all eternity by the looks of things until we all go boom and poof.

It's getting to the point to where we can't trust anyone especially anyone who calls themselves muslim. You hear muslim and automatically you think terrorist. It doesn't matter who they really are, if they are muslim they are labaled terrorist. The war is going to go on and on because neither side will back down which is sad. It's fueled by the despicible acts of a fraction of a people who are extremists who call for anilliation of another country who made a mistake and is now suffering the consequences of their mistake. It's not right for the entire country of innocent people to be destroyed because a few people made a mistake. And that goes for the other country. The killing must stop. But there has to be some intelligent person on both sides to realize this and bring this whole mess under control.
