I spent six years in the U.S. army, and never once worried about this problem, It would seem that there is a growing concern over this issue, I have read several articles about chicago based gang signs showing up in Iraq, as a former gang member, I personally dont see the problem with it.

Just because your a gang member doesnt discount the fact that you are a U.S. citizen. Nor does it disqualify you from serving your country.

the way that these articles are pointing at this issue is as if we are training our enemy to defeat us, I find that funny cus nobody said that when we helped Iraq in the Iran Vs. Iraq war

I understand that some of these guys are dangerous but they would be just as dangerous here on our streets as the would be anywhere else,

With the proper training and guidance they are more likely to come home and form more resposible groups that are truely intended for the GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT of our communities just as I did,

Those sailors really made a disgusting spectacle of themselves by "confessing" so quickly. It seems to me that they should stand trial and if found guilty executed.

While we still preach "freedom of speech", I notice an increasing intolerant attitude to those like me that are not supporting this war in Iraq. We are called "traitors", "idiots" and more insulting names. Even threats we have received from some "superpatriots" conservative folks. What do you think?

I am clueless.

Also, why did the adjacent British battleship sit around and do nothing when they were kidnapped? You cannot just sit around and let things happen like this, you need to engage any military that interferes with your operation.

Would you consider it is something to do with the government, like illegal aliens and the greed of corporations in a capitalist society? I once read a quote on the primary function of any government. It was from the front of a 1947 textbook on government. It stated the purpose of any government was to make it easy for the citizens who followed the law, and to make it difficult for anyone who breaks the law. It seems, sixty years later, the reverse is true. It is easy for citizens to break the law, and for illegal aliens it is easier.
Then again, our main trouble in American society might be outside of the government. If you consider the implications of global travel and media, it is possible for Americans to see greater difficulties in other countries. We feel compelled to aid the poor and weary foreigners, and only in hind sight do we see the one truth: nobody can help those who will not help themselves.
So what do you consider to be the primary problem in American society?

Is Global Warming a Myth? I remember being a kid in the 80's and never hearing much about it. And in the past 10 years that is all you here about. How do you explain that thousand of years ago the earth was frozen how did it warm up? This is just a way to get your mind of real issues. The war in Iraq. The middle class working and getting screwed over by everyone. Having to pay for lazy welfare mothers who refuse to work and the strupid goverment keeps giving them more money for each kid that they have. Went a little of the subject my point is dont worry about global warming. There are many bigger problems to worry about.

How are the U.S. troops in Iraq fighting for the freedom of the American people? How are our freedoms being threatened in the first place? How exactly are U.S. soldiers combatting this threat to our freedoms? How will we know when our freedoms are safe and secured? I am not looking for metaphorical answers, or indirect, vague, passionate rhetoric, I want straightforward neutral facts. Thank you.

In a Florida school, a boy was made to take off his T-shirt because it was "gang attire". His "gang attire" was a University of Florida--Gators--T-shirt. It happened this January. I imagine a lot of kids were dressed up like "gangsters" this month.
