Let's be serious, folks. Iranian families don't want their kids to be vaporized by U.S. or Israeli missiles. I am not suggesting appeasement of that idiot Imanutjobidad. I am wondering what can be done to help Iranians liberate themselves, non-violently.

First of all, it is not "my occupation" and I am not suggesting an occupation. As to whether or not they are really free, why do so many of them leave their country to go to the U.S. or Europe? And ultimately, it is a question of survival. If the loony tune in charge continues on his present path, Israel will vaporize Iran and I don't think ANYONE really wants that.

I agree with old school, we need help. Unfortunately that will have to wait until January of 2009. The shrub could start another war before then.

I'm not asking anyone to run their country the way "I" like, my name is not G.W. Bush. But Iranians have told me that they are very unhappy with Imadinajerk. He is an ignorant moron, the Islamic twin brother of Bush. The guy they used to have (Khatami) was not so bad. Why does everyone assume Iranians are happy with their situation? American's certainly aren't happy with our white house situation.

Not that bad of a guy, huh? Remember this "Israel should be wiped off the map." You are saying he isn't that bad? And if anyone thinks Iran wants enriched Uranium just for energy, they are dead wrong. My problem isn't so much that they will have the bomb (Israel does) but that their leadership is moronic and EVIL.

But I DO NOT support any kind of military attack. The U.S. has bungled enough already.

It is not our job to change anyone's government. The people should do it themselves. If they cannot, oh well. Let's work on ours first. We need help.

Dialogue.

Watch the interviews that the Iranian president did with CBS and TIME magazine. He is not that bad of a guy. He is not nearly as bad as Kim Jong-Il in North Korea. Working towards peace would be possible.

By leaving them alone. and letting them run thier country as they see fit.

so what if they want to use nuclear power.

The U.S. and britain sure use thier share of it. how many nukes do we in the united states have.

It's not like we couldn't obliterate the world a couple of times ourselves.

We just need to keep an eye on the sneaky bastards, other than that let them go. they'll probaly end up nuking themselves anyhow.

could you get peace and be friends with someone who tries to make it his way all the time?
do you get pissed at friends and relatives when they say to you that you shouldn't do something but do something else because it is for your own good? tell me that you haven't thought "i know better what my own good is!"

well that is how Iranians probably feel and they are not that wrong.
peace is all you can ask of them as the rest of the world is asking of America.

how would you like it if we would start bombarding you cause we didn't like your president and thought of him to be a crazy murderer although we didn't even know where you are on the map.
and then when you were under our command asking you for peace and friendship...oh and could you please do things our way?

does that make sense to you?

you can never be friends but you can be civil.
you cannot ask them to run their country the way you like it they can decide on their own, that is you know a big- HUGE- kind of the most important part of democracy.
