Here is my prediction, a low yield nuke - or suitcase nuke will be detonated in a major port or airport. Probably within the next few years.

Many many will die, but the psychological impact will be much worse than the deaths, the fallout if you will. But, that action will finally turn the peace doves into war hawks, almost over night, especially since it will happen under a Democratic - read - peaceful presidency.

That is my wild A $ $ guess.

Terrorists keep striking in other parts of the world outside of the USA.. and so I will guess that you really mean "inside the USA"...

I think that they will strike again if they can get a good opportunity.. but I also believe that after the attack it will not go well with whatever country they are associated...

We COULD prevent such an attack.. just remove ALL aid that we provide throughout the world except inside the USA.. bring ALL of our diplomats home, close up shop in all countries except the USA.. stop all non-citizens from entering the country.. kick out anyone with Visa's from countries that are supporting terrorists...

However, such a move would destroy world economics, including our own (for a while).

I think they will attack a large city where they can once again kill many innocent people (killing combatants doesn't make much news)...

I think they will attack something like a train or a subway...

I think that a few hundred people will die.

I am not interested in even guesstimating how many will die but certainly at some point terrorists will strike again. Hopefull we are all a little more braced for it now though maybe it won't lessen the pain any when it happens. I do hope that all this homeland security we hear about is actually accomplishing something and that we are a little more safe than before.

Read the paper. Terrorists strike all over the world on a daily basis. To answer your question based on averages within the next 36 hours, and 10.8 people respectively.

They will strike again. They are striking daily in other countries. They will strike in the US but obviously I don't know when or where. They will want to make a bigger impression than before; maybe numerous coordinated attacks.

Yes they will strike again; they're striking all the time throughout the world. It's hard to say how, where, when, and how many will die. It will happen though.

yes, eventually they will get tired of killing off iraqis and decide to blow up more stuff over here, they are doing a good job over there making us look foolish, draining our resources both money and manpowe, basically iraq is a sideshow, for some reason bush thinks that binladin cant send over another dozen or so suicidal arabs to cause trouble here. Its not like us, with our army bogged down, they can hit and run anywhere at any time, and a bunch of highschool kids and illegal aliens we call tsa wont do much to stop it.

That all depends on how we can protect ourselves. i think that there will always be a risk that we will be attacked again, but the risk jumps exponentially if we pull out of Iraq.
The only way to reduce that risk is to show terrorists that we will not back down that they can't try to walk on us and get away with it.
Our government and our defenses have to stay strong and have to be supported.

Hi. I hope not but I feel they will. Nobody seems to have paid enough attention to the planned attack on 10 simultaneous planes in mid flight. Had that happened it would be a complete mystery and could have been used again as an attack ploy. I really hope all countries are spared the attacks, but my mind tells me otherwise.

They do, most days. In Indonesia, Thailand, Iraq, Israel, Palestine, and many other places. Terrorism is a sickness but people are not prepared for the cure. As long as any act of terrorism gains it ends, it will go on. As long as the fanatics believe they will go to paradise for an act of terrorism, it will continue.
