I just began working as a journalist at a small town newspaper with alot of scandal going on at the moment. The guy I am replacing is going into semi-retirement, and has been lambasted for articles written saying "bad things" about the county's fiscal practices. I'm curious as to the experiences of other journalists and if I have serious cause for concern for safety, etc. I am a mother, and the thought of getting involved in any kind of scandal, even if just catching the wrath of those doing wrong, scares me. Any advice?

I am trying to find information about a plane crash of an ASN Aircraft that occurred in April 4th 1975. I am looking for pictures, news stories, settlement information etc. I am doing this for a developmentally diabled client who wants to learn about the accident because she does not remember it.

I heard that today on the news what makes it worst it was found near a water pump near a town where i live here in fla. THEY said the baby girl had her cord still att. she ws about 2 lbs 6 oz and they were getting the DNA and finger prints of the pickle jar.....OMG i hope they find this horrible women that could have done this awfull thing. What do you think you would do if you knew this women?????? I can't tell you what i would do to her!!

Of course there will always be survivors to rebuild and carry up new civilizations and technologies - History tells us that.
But the sudden demise is surely the overpopulation, war, famine, disease effect, as is at critical mass, now.

Without religion, stable cultures, and with (Psychological warfare - Our media's effect on us by Communists) competition for resources (Gas, fish, farming, etc.), then there is NO WAY to get young men and women from looking to the fastest, cheapest, most enjoyable recreation of all - SEX.
Take a population count, and see what I mean.
The "Good" news is that Red China has vastly overextended its resources, and will probably collapse from pollution, water depletion (Or Mother Nature's return with a vengence to their flood season - Wipe out the Walmart factories of the Pearl River/3 Gorges Dam area), and inherent Communist corruption this upcoming flood season of June and July.
If you want to invest in the Stock Market, buy Mexican Trucking stocks (as they come to fill our newly needed factories) and Canadian raw resources, as we reform our "AMERICAN" borders for ALL Americans.

Used to know some high-ranking CIA types. (And it"s made my life hell because of those who wanted to know just this - Now I can thumb my nose at them!)

I've written 2 dissertations, I've written for academic publications, I have degrees from 3 countries (2 in Europe, 1 in US... all known universities), and I've lived all over, working on humanitarian issues, even interning with UNDP... my degrees are in international development (human rights, environmental studies, etc). I don't want to write for a small paper on local issues as my experience and interests lie elsewhere, mainly in southeast asia. As such, I would like to work as a freelance or correspondent on political and development issues. Since I just finished graduate school recently, what should I do? I am also willing to work in high risk situations. I lived in 2 countries where coups happened. I generally think my CV makes me qualified for a lot and I can write well, but without working previously as a journalist, what do I do?

I have been told if u commit sucide you go to hell. Well the people in the WTC who jumped rather than burn alive commited sucide( didnt mean to offend anyone if i did, sorry) so did they go to hell or what.
