from the reports on cnn on I-75 there is a hov lane and it's located on the left hand side and the bus driver was not familiar with the roads and was still driving at the same speed he was driving not realizing that the road ended and the only way he/she could go was to the right but he/she couldn't make the turn in time and plunged off the highway onto I-75. they said that the baseball team were sleeping at the time and those that passed away didn't even know what happened. It's a really sad day out here for everyone. life is too precious.

He was an out-of-town driver going way too fast on a left sided exit ramp. No skid marks, didn't try to stop. He either needed to turn left or right at the end of the ramp but instead just kept barreling on through straight on - fast - and broke through the concrete barrier and fell to the road below. A real tragedy. I feel for all the victims, their families, and their friends.

I have to agree with the first poster. Even if the bus driver was speeding, unless your blind you should be able to see a concrete barrier right in front of you. I can almost bet that the driver was asleep or too tired to concentrate. If the driver slammed on his brakes the bus might hit the concrete wall but not through it.

He made a wrong turn, ran into the rail and flipped over and fell 30 feet down into the traffic underneath
