I wonder why they are continuing to go forward with more trials for Hussein when he has already been sentenced to death in his last trial. I understand that the appeals process must go forward on the first trial but I don't understand why there are subsequent trials. All of the trials (or upcoming trials) all include a sentence of death. They can only put him to death once. Why continue? Just wondering what others thoughts are on this. Thanks for the input!

I have had about enough of these 3 and the news coverage they are getting. It's not like these 3 are children who wandered into the woods and got lost, they are hardcore adult climbers who knew they were taking their live's in their own hands everytime they climbed a mountain. I understand the people going out in helicopters in teams and searching for them, but how much time and money will go into trying to find these 3? And the news coverage, how ridiculous is this? This should be local news and not national, I don't care about these 3! People die everyday, all day, all year. I don't care about 3 people who had nothing better to do than climb a fricking mountain, must be nice to have so much freetime. If the story and coverage can help with the recovery of some lost children I would be fine with that, but what's the point of overblowing this story, everything that can be done is being done, next story! Who else here does not give a crap about the fate of these 3?

I am considering taking a job with a contractor that will pay well. The two dozen people that I spoke to (some of whom I know) who have worked this job have worked in Kuwait. In regard to the geographical area, Kuwait seems to be proportionately less prone to witnessing acts of terror/violence. (As opposed to OTHER areas in the region.) Thus, would taking this job be a relatively safe move? In one year, it pays close to the equivalent of three years of my current salary in the U.S.
