How's this: During the holidays, people give charitable contributions like crazy as a tax write-off, which the homeless and needy appreciate tremendously. But, what happens afterward? Do the donations drop off? Do people stop caring? The homeless are still there, but now end up forgotten once again.

You may want to write what had happened this year followed by what you would like to see happening next year. With best wishes and have a Very Merry Christmas!
