The media are more concerned about the bottom line than the truth, and they distort and focus news events to please their advertisers so that they can make more profits.
I wonder how many important stories are quashed because they would offend the sponsors.

The behavior is to get the best story over the other annalist/news anchors.

The effect is that they drag on a story and make it sound logical.
