Time Magazine has announced their "person of the yr" on the cover for 2006, what is your reaction and your opinion to their person of the year and why you think their idea was appropriate.

I thought that TIME magazine's choice of person of the year was very clever as well as flattering. We all should recognize that we are all special and we all endure life to the max. Therefore I think it was wonderful to choose "you" as the person of the year. I felt really good about it and was pleasantly suprised at their choice.

I think they couldn't decide on somebody and finally said 'ya know what? let's just give it to everybody'.
And I think it's stupid. I wonder if all the child molesters in prison are happy that they got to be 'person of the year'?
And like Jay Leno said on his show tonight, would it be appropraite to put on your resume that you were Time's Person of the Year 2006?

Really, they should have picked someone instead of just a nothing or something so broad as the whole country.

It's not a bad choice considering user created materials on internet now have so much power, value and influence in media and journalism as well with all that blogging and crap. It seem little too general to me, but I guess they thought it was pretty edgy and smart.

Thanks to all the "You" in exposing the misery of living human kind in planet of apes.
All kicking the butts of the dirty old men in office who made blunders and slip-ups with human errors without noticing it themselves in planet of apes.
Those dirty old men were just like ladies putting on a thick make-up without realising they were making a monkey out of themselves in planet of apes.
Until all the children kick them and get voted in as Person of the year in planet of apes.
What can happened when we have the blind in leading and guiding the blind in planet of apes.
All this while they thought they were smart.
Self exposed they were just bunch of educated idiots in executive suits with clubs on their shoulders were still primitive living in caves in planet of apes.
