It's possible, if you're at school or work, the firewall doesn't allow for streaming content. A lot of companies don't allow things like that to keep from having everyone slowing the network down with videos and music and other content.
If you're not at work or school then it could be any number of reasons. You'd have to be a little more specific as to the error you're getting.
