in march 1932, an only child was kidnapped from his bedroom by way of the window. the ladder was not tall enough to reach. the father adamantly refused the mother/nanny from entering the childs room at a certain time that night. eventually the story ends with a ransom note, leading to a drop-off of cash. details where to find the child proved fruitless. and he was eventually found dead a few days later. the father had some police connections/political power, and refused to have the nanny or himself questioned. some german guy was convicted and sentenced to death for writing the ransom notes, but it was never proved that he murdered the child. documentary suspect the father's involvement. what do you think?

I mean seriously. He didn't do the killings himself. Also, what's the difference in people getting killed by gangs? Nobody is this mad at the gang leaders, or mafia bosses. I bet not one person can name all of the people who actually crashed the planes without doing a search. Why aren't we as mad at them?

You don't have to listen too hard to most things on the radio, except traffic reports. Why then do they give the broadcaster so little time that he/she has to gabble and rush through the reports. To add to the lack of clarity, they add music too.

Why do we care about the lives and the rights of our enemies? Why are we too worried about offending someone or killing some "innocent" Iraqi/Muslim scum to properly fight the war we're in to defend the precious lives of our own citizens? Why don't we quit being a bunch of pansies and KILL/DESTROY our enemies before they destroy us? I'm sick of hearing people whine about what can we do to win in Iraq and change the backward, archaic, uncivilized structure of the middle east. We know what we can do, we've just become so nutless that we can't bring ourselves to do it. We need to show our enemies that we mean business and do what we have to do. No one fears us anymore because we're trying to be too nice. No one's ever won a war by being nice. We should take off the gloves and fight dirty. We ought to put aside the BS of piltical correctness, and we should destroy anyone who rises against us, screw diplomacy. These punks don't understand diplomacy, death is all they understand.

I was just sitting here watching TV and Kate Moss popped up on her usual Rimmel Ads. and it got me thinking.... I never thought she was an icon, or beautiful or ay of the other things which are attributed to her.. the media have almost made that decision for us...

Don't get me wrong I do not thing she is ugly or anything.. it is simply that it is bizarre how the media reinforces images of who they feel should have iconc status and we end up agreeing with them not because it is necessarily true but because we just get drawn into the whole idea of it...

I sent money to this signator publishing, they told me that the book with my daughters picture would be here in November of last year and then they said publishing had been delayed and it would be March of this year and I still haven't heard anything. I'm a U.S. graduate student, but I've been keeping up with the murder case (it's quite fascinating; I've also read about the Peter Sutcliffe case and studied the big debates in prostitution/pornography) and just read about the issued injunctions. If the cornoner can't find a cause of death for three of the girls, how on earth might they have been killed? Poison?

It seems bizarre that they weren't raped, either. Or shot in the head and cut up. But maybe that latter is just an American thing.
