He killed "dissidents" in his country to prevent civil unrest, humane or not that was his country. Right now, the USA is in there and the death toll and destruction is greater than before. Does Bush get in trouble for invading a sovereign country. Wasn't Sudan in need of a humanitarian invasion more than Iraq?

of violence if Saddam Hussein is found guilty. Would/could any other sentence be tolerated other than a death sentence for Saddam Hussein?

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq canceled leave Friday for all military officers two days before an expected verdict — and possible death sentence — in the trial of Saddam Hussein. For the second time this week, a top Bush administration official huddled with the Iraqi prime minister.

Many of Saddam's fellow Sunni Arabs, along with some Shiites and Kurds, are predicting a firestorm of violence if the court sentences the ex-president to death, as is widely expected. Bloodshed is already high, with police finding the bodies of 87 torture victims throughout the capital between 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. Friday.

But most Shiites, including Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, are likely to be enraged if he escapes the gallows. Al-Maliki declared last month he expected "this criminal tyrant will be executed".

Just watched it now. VERY disturbing. As a woman who gave birth at 17, I find this very troubling. I also find her story unbelievable. She stabbed the baby to "prevent his pain?" Ugh. The only thing she's sorry about is getting caught.

Quran has superb descriptions of Abraham, Moses, Jesus etc in unique living way. It has remvoed all man made fabrications! When you quote a book, the very first and logical question comes, how authentic is that? Is it in its original language as in translations a lot of changes can occur? Was it preserved from day one letter by letter, word by word? Is the original language of the book still alive and as fresh as on day 1 i.e centuries ago? If the naswer is no then you really can't quote from that book. Only andonly Quran passes this test!
Islam contributed superbly towards civilization and development of sciences. It brought Europe out of darkness and fair and honest Christians and Jews admit that. I see the follwoing points and seek your opinion
1)Muslims are to blame as they are not intracting
2) Missionaries are quoting out of context. Quote from wars applied to normal life
3) Global terroirsts know that only Muslims can resist their plans so they are using media to defame Islam

Someone replied, "Because it sounds like more propoganda to me, or inciting arguments and a flame war.

It's like saying, "Is George Bush Gay?" and me showing you a picture of him when he was in Yale as a male cheerleader. (true story)"

Weak.
Is that not propaganda in itself?
This site is riddled with propaganda and opinion. It's the nature of the beast.
So some idiot decides they don't like my question and poof it's gone? Guess so.

The one where he says (falsely) that certain Republican politicians are opposing "science"that holds "promise" to cure diseases like Alzheimers and Parkinson's?

He even said that Talent (in Missouri) wanted to "criminalize the science" that would bring cures.

first of all, Talent is and has VOTED for stem cell research and supporting it.

What he HASN'T voted for is "embryonic" stem cell research, which has produced no cures.

They have been working and doing embryonic stem cell research for 13 years and spending billions of dollars on it.

In all that time, there have been ZERO breakthroughs. .

zero discoveries . .

The kind of stem cell research Talent and the other Republicans Fox is lying about HAVE voted for spending tax money on is "adult stem cell research"

which HAS brought dozens of cures. .

it has resulted in 72 different clinical cures, while Embryonic stem cell research has resulted in NONE!

he doesn't tell you that part.

Environmental experts across Asia have urged dramatic action after a report warning all marine fish and seafood species faced collapse within 50 years.

This is very scary. Over 30 percent of 8,000 species are considered collapsed...due to overfishing, much of it within the last decade alone.

I read elsewhere that within 30 years most of the coral reefs would be dead too.

Does anyone care? What can we do? How do we get people to listen and care about stuff like this rather than blowing each other's brains out??

Screw the pursuit of oil and senseless wars...what will be left in this world if we're on the brink of destroying it???

Comments anyone???
