I was disappointed to see Andrew Rosenthal promoted to editor of the editorial page of the NY Times. Anybody else remember his made up story about the elder Bush and barcode scanners ?? Rosenthal was flat out busted writing a column describing the president's awe at barcode scanners, funny thing was Rosenthal wasn't present for the event and of course got his facts all wrong. These things happen when you plagairize the AP pool writer's notes.

Not a company to let such incompetence go unnoticed, the Times promptly promoted Rosenthal and now he gets another promotion. What a sad circumstance for what was once the paper of record for the whole world.

At the twin towers tragedy, the U.S authorities said they found the terrorists passports (before you answer I am NOT a conspiracy theorist or anything like that, I am just curious, so no stupid answers please), and also in the last couple of weeks when the American baseball star crashed his plane, his passport was also found. I thought that in both cases the passports would be destroyed in the intense heat of the fires/explosions that followed the crashes??

I basically want to know if Stephen A. Smith married or single. In addition, I want to know if he has any children. I have found conflicting information on the internet. Does anyone reading this know for certain?

What kind of clever ploy was that? we want to see who looks at the site and go arrest them? we want the public to vet the docs and see what they are about because we do not trust the intelligence people to do it right?

One possible outcome of Sadam's trial is that he is acquitted. While that doesn't seem likely, nothing else in Iraq has happened according to plan.
Appreciate your thoughts on what would happen in a scenario where he was acquitted and released
