Now that all the world knows the situation there. And also it's clear that United States just couldn't leave it in this situation after announcing the world it's for Iraqis' freedom to invade Iraq. What do you think that US should do? what do you think is the best way?

Actually there isn't any good solution. But I think the best way is like this: 1. Establish and train a good internal control system by training and developing Police and Military from outside Iraq, as it is dangerous to develop it from Iraq itself because of the threat of bomibgs.
2. Withdraw troops slowly but steadily within a stiuplated time and as quick as possible.
3. Give guidance and weapons to the trained Iraqi Police and Military upon withdrawel.
A withdrawel is the only way out, it will decrease the fighting spirit of those called terrorist. Suddenly they will find a vaccum and will see no reason to fight because the Americans are not there.

1.Well, one is, I support the guys and gals that are ordered to do things and are putting their life on the line for our country...

2. Those countries have been around for a long time and we can not change them.

3. I dont think "you" and "I" should pay for them.

4. Think back 15 years ago when we gave Iraq money and weapons and support- what did that get us?

5. What freedom did we give them? freedom to die?

6. I believe we should pull out and leave them to handle there country.

7. Where is Bin Laden? So we forget about him and start an other front with Iraq to cover up that we cant find him.. So know are we going to start with Korea to cover up Iraq?

8. Get out... save our troops...

I KNOW this would not be politically correct, but I truly think this is the best solution:

Put Lupron (testosterone blocker) in the water supply. That will accomplish two things, it will lower the aggression level, and will lower the birth rate. Once they are not in testosterone storm, force a workable government. Then withdraw, *then* pull the plug on the Lupron.

Then stand back and watch the fireworks.

Since that would never be seriously considered, I know that I don't have enough information to render a military or diplomatic guess, but I hope they involve people who DO, in determining the correct way to exit that mess.

They MUST set up a firm timetable for withdrawal, or withdrawal will never begin -- it could be a decade, lacking any sort of firm schedule or timetable. The current administration is just delaying thinking about this. They are still riding the crest of the wave with public opinion about this war, still using it for their own gain (as see Cheney's comments that to vote democrat is to vote for terrorism). The war is turning out to be a watershed too good for the current administration to let go of. They know, also, that it would be easier to leave it for the next guy in office to clean up.

Michael Savage's suggestion seems the most logical: Rope off the worst area, give people warning to get out, do a massive bombing, and then it's over. The polltical correct way of conducting the thing has been the problem.

pull all the troops out , and let them sort it out ,they have been fighting for decades j ust like alot of the other countries, there is nothing any one can do. they are 30 thousand miles away who the *uck cares. if every one wants this taken care of the states has alot of nukes just sitting in the ground starting to rust, a couple here and there and in Afghanistan ,n.Korea, Lebanon, should do the trick, o ya one in Quebec Canada ( we are sick of the french here)

Well let's see..They used aircraft to terrorize, torture and kill over 3 thousand Americnas. It doesn't matter why we are over there.
It should have been more than a tap on the nose though. When Roosevelt responded to Japan after Pearl Harbor..THEY got the message.

I am not a proponent of war, or collateral damage, but it happens. We should have acted faster to Hitler's holocaust also.
We always wait, and wait...Or withdraw completely, and let them have at us and the rest of the world again!!!

Get out, and let them fight each other, and straighten out their OWN problems. What is our benefit of being there??? Oil? The Sunnis and Sheites (sp) will be fighting forever, and most are not happy we are there. It is a lose-lose situation. How many years have the arabs and Jews been fighting? Let's take care of OUR OWN COUNTRY!!!!!! Iraq is no threat to us!! AND, if they execute Saddam, there will be more violence!!

We should either send in overwhelming force, or leave and let things fall where they will. What we are doing now isn't working.

We are good at taking out Armies, not so good at fighting insurgents!

Heaven alone knows, but it would be nice to see some of the principals apologise for their mistakes. That would be a good start.
