I ask this question because American actress Debra Messing (Will & Grace) refused to come to Australia to film a movie after Steve Irwin was killed!

How stupid. Unless she was planning on getting in the ocean what is her problem? And even then what are her chances that the same thing would happen to her? Heck, if she's worried about that, it could happen where she lives in California. There's stingrays in the ocean there also. It's not like he died in a plane crash or some violent crime in Australia.

There are plenty of sting rays in Florida, too and folks keep going there. If people are afraid to go to Australia because of stingrays, better not tell them about box jelly fish, red back spiders, and the scores of deadly snakes.

No, why would it? Its not as if there are stingray's all over the place. He put himself in a potentially dangerous situation, and paid the ultimate price for it. Most people would never be in that situation.
