I suppose that negative stories are more sensational, but positive stories are so much more enlightening. Instead of the usual gloom and doom stories that are reported every day, I would like to read more about the good things that are going on, about how people show they care about others.

From the news show, hearing about the sediment wasting that they do down there where the MS meets the Gulf, well that seems like it is a natural defense system that teh people have mis-directed..... More land , ie> natural barriers could have been "adding up" all those years. www.link.20fr.com

Saddam is accused of ordering his forces to conduct a campaign to exterminate up to 182,000 Kurdish civilians and raze around 3,000 villages in Iraq's northern hills and deserts to the ground.
They say more than 5000 people were killed during the series of chemical bombardment.
Majority of the victims were women and children whom were living in their city and villages.
Imagine children were playing in the yards, alleyways and streets and suddenly had a feeling that they couldn’t breath properly.

In today's world, the word Addiction is thrown around lazily. Now you can be addicted to eating, shopping, sex, even sleep. But the term addiction is used as if the object of the addiction is at fault and not the person. Dependency puts the emphasis back where it should be, on the person. A person thinks it's cute when you say "I'm addicted to shopping." But it sounds like a real problem when you say, "I'm dependent on shopping." Problem is back on the person, so what do you all think on the subject?

I think he was let go. He's too outspoken. He should have never said those things about Brooke Shields. He doesn't know what she was feeling and he's not a doctor. His crazy couch jumping antics on Oprah and calling Matt Lauer Glib. Insisting that Katie Holmes not have medication when she had the baby. I think he's a nut.

Will his wife find the picture to prove/disprove he was not in Boulder Colorado at Christmas in 1996 when she was murdered? Or is he doing this just to make a name for himself and get in the history books?

Here in the State of New Mexico, a man by the name of John Hyde shot and kille 5 people in one night. 2 KIDS one full grown man, and 2 police officers. Every time the media brings up that trial subject, they only mention the 2 police officers that were killed. Like the kids never mattered in the firs place. I say FORGET the officers, they knew it was bound to happen. The kids never had a chance to choose a carreer.(they were each about 17 yrs old. Why the **** does the media only care about the cops, and not the innocent victims. If John Hyde had killed 5 bums, there wouldn't be any media coverage, YET, the innocent people are the ones paying the cops. The yonly care about themselves seems like. I thought 9/11 would bring them closer to the PEOPLE, rather than themselves. What do you people think?
