Here in the State of New Mexico, a man by the name of John Hyde shot and kille 5 people in one night. 2 KIDS one full grown man, and 2 police officers. Every time the media brings up that trial subject, they only mention the 2 police officers that were killed. Like the kids never mattered in the firs place. I say FORGET the officers, they knew it was bound to happen. The kids never had a chance to choose a carreer.(they were each about 17 yrs old. Why the **** does the media only care about the cops, and not the innocent victims. If John Hyde had killed 5 bums, there wouldn't be any media coverage, YET, the innocent people are the ones paying the cops. The yonly care about themselves seems like. I thought 9/11 would bring them closer to the PEOPLE, rather than themselves. What do you people think?

I agree with you, the officers were no the only ones shot and out of respect they should include the children and others involved..there is no place for the truth , if the trueth is witheld.and Why did they not mention the others.because they dont matter to them.. well the other Deathes.have family also..so maybe they not chargeing him for the other deaths other than the officers??? hummmm look into that one....

Have you ever thought that maybe they don't mention the children all the time, out of respect to the families.

And the reason they do mention the police officers all the time is probably meant as a reminder of how dangerous and evil this man's crime was; not only for killing innocent people (regardless of age), but that he also killed the very people meant to protect us from being killed...Police Officers.

I think you need to take a moment to realize and remember what these individuals do on a daily basis..putting their lives on the line for our well-being

Thank you to all the men & women that protect and serve.

Police Officers, Firefighters, EMTS, federal agents, soldiers of all the armed forces, etc...

Thank You !!!

So does this show that people value certain other people more?
Now that is a problem I agree and the media is nothing more than a propaganda machine bought by the devils themselves to manipulate you and try to control you. Isn't advertising a form of brainwahsing? Be skinny or noone will like you, eat mcdonalds or noone willlike you. Sad.
Very sad.
Now that certain lives are "more" than others we are set for a rise of a fourth reich dictator. And you can take that to the bank for a rainy day cause it's coming.
Unlearn everything you've learned then look at things.

Wow, I totally agree with you-what insight you have !

Unfortunately, some occupations and lives are valued more than others-it shouldn't be this way, but emphasizing the cops makes it a better story, and draws up more empathy.

I think you are asinine.

NO Police Officer expects to be killed in the line of duty.

The death of all is horrible, not just in specific group.

complain to your local media...they are the ones who are talking about the police...not the police themselves...write a letter to the editor of your local paper...I'm sure other people feel the same way

My brother's a cop...it's unfortuante that they only mention the cops murder, but how can you say "forget" them and that they knew it was bound to happen?? Cops only care about themselves?? I hope someday you need them and they "forget" you!!
