There are different barrels, but here we go:
1 barrel (oil) = 42 US Gallons = 34.97231575 UK Gallons = 158.98729493 litres

1 barrel (liquid) = 31.5 US Gallons = 26.22923682 UK Gallons = 119.24047120 litres

1 barrel (dry) = 26.22643885 Gallons (dry) = 25.43441146 UK Gallons (dry) = 115.62712358 litres

1 barrel (beer) = 43.24 US Gallons = 36.00483174 UK Gallons = 163.68120554 litres
