Saddam is accused of ordering his forces to conduct a campaign to exterminate up to 182,000 Kurdish civilians and raze around 3,000 villages in Iraq's northern hills and deserts to the ground.
They say more than 5000 people were killed during the series of chemical bombardment.
Majority of the victims were women and children whom were living in their city and villages.
Imagine children were playing in the yards, alleyways and streets and suddenly had a feeling that they couldn’t breath properly.

He should not be executed as some would feel he was a martyr (Sunni insurgents and Ba athists). He should however receive the longest sentence that has ever been passed and he should be held in a maximum security prison. I would allow him visitation rights (whether he wanted them or not) but only from the relatives of those who died, and no, they should not be searched before the visit. They still deserve justice.

Uhmm... what is more valuable, the life of one thousands or the life of a few equally innocent victims??? He should get a sentence as hard as the one that the soldiers that with premeditation raped a 14 yr old Iraqui, killed her little sister and her family and burned them all to cover their crime should get.

First off unless you can speak his(saddam's) language I really do not think you will get an accurate representation from the US media as to just what went on.... but what SENTENCE should the "USA GOVERNMENT people" who Syringically raped me and tortured many others in "looney-bins" get?

He should spend the rest of his life in a spartan cell. I disagree with the death sentence anyway, but I also think there's a real danger of him becoming a kind of martyr. It would look as if he was executed at the behest of the West.

Since i'm dead set against death penalty, and I believe that it is a way to easy way out for such a cruel person it would be a pitty.
It would be better to lock him in a prison wing with a whole bunch of big, heavy hung guys so he could have another shower buddy every day, and feed him nothing but pork so it would be very difficult for him to enter paradise(if you believe in such a thing!!)

He should get death, but, this is all dumb, he killed 182000 Kurd, but, so did the Americans kill 200,000 Inocent Japanise people in Herioshim and Nakasaki,
Think about that one next time you think he should get death, its the same situation.
