I don't have a ac in the kitchen and it is over 100 degrees in that part of the house. Will that make my refrigerator not Freeze or the bottom part not keep cold. That is what my landlord is saying. I pay 314.00 a month rent. And I can not even keep a gallon of milk cold in fridge.

Sometimes my gas oven won't get up to temperature (it gets to around 100-150 F). This seems to be correlated with running the central a/c (which is electric). What could be causing this? All was fine for about 4 years. Could a faulty thermostat on the oven cause this? But why only when the a/c is on? Coincidence?

If a contractor is hired to do work on your house, and you ask him to see a detailed break-down of the costs, labor, supplies, etc. Is he required by law to do so? Aren't businesses required to provide you with a receipt of some type?

Builders, how long do you hire scaffolding for? My scaffolding is still up 9 days after the new roof was finished. 5 phone calls later, it is still up. It has been up for nearly 1 month now - 1 week prior to work commencing and 9 days after. I must have paid my roofer for this. Can I get a refund? How can I get them to take it down? Any help gladly received.

What could be the problem? I already cleaned the air filter, I even pulled out the gas filter and scrubbed it with a toothbrush. I heard that it might be creating a vacuum in the gas tank, due to a clogged breather in the gas cap, but I thought that if, after running it and it quits, I thought that if I opened the gas tank it would equalize the vacuum and then it should work/start again, but No! and now I am frustrated. Can anyone offer advice?
