As pooring concrete is for a foundation then no problem at all to apply it vertically, however for general vertically applied concrete, the pouring height shall not exceed 2 meters or saggregation would be a present possibility

It's not practical because you will never get a permanent bond between both surfaces. However you can apply concrete to your basement walls by using a trowel and then you can control the amount of concrete you want to apply. You can make it smooth that way. Also ask your local home store what additive you can add to the concrete that will make it adhesive.

concrete basements have vertical walls. you will need to frame it first, at least a 2x4 thick. Unless you want to skim coat it, but that will not provide any strength. I'm a brick contractor.

Yes, you can actually spray it on. Construction firms spray concrete onto styrofoam to make outer walls of buildings now.

you would have to use plywood in front of the wall, then pour it between the wood and the wall.
