they have not gotten any bigger, 3 weeks ago I had 3 tomatoes like this now I have a total of about 35-40 and they are all full size, green, hard and doing nothing? Why is this? I water every other evening, we live in iowa, the heat is pretty hot some days.

I have 3 fairly large gardens, no flowering plants, except for snow on the mountain plants. I live in a mobile home and I am buying a house just down the street. I have spent a lot of time and money on my plants and want to dig them up and take them with me. I thought I would prepare the soil at the new place, and then dig my plants up. Should I wait until the soil is wet. What will be the least stressfull time/conditions to move my plants?

I heard that if you make a tea from it and just have a little sip you can tell if it is poison if it is really bitter. I tried it and it seems to have worked. Has anyone else heard or tried this?

I have an area (5'x23') running along the side of my garage. The previous homeowner did nothing but make the gravel in it look pretty. I tried planting some shrubs and Alberta Dward Spruces but then read online that it takes FOREVER for them to grow and they are 1' tall now. So, with that being said, I wanted to know a reasonable amount to pay a landscaper to come out, dig up the gravel, put stone edging around and fill it with dirt. I'll plant the shrubs myself when it gets cooler here. Any help would be nice. I feel stupid calling around to our local landscaping companies.

rose bush (NO NOT A CLIMBER). How far will it be from the base of the plant? Will the texture be different from the other stems, etc. I am a novice. Thank you for not using technical words which have me running to a plant dictionary. You're on . . .

Looks like a whitefly but is fluffy. Leaves sap on leaves and has caused some to shed. Any idea what it is and how to control it? Thanks.

I have a Gourd plant that is living it's life on my West Patios trellies. I wonder if I clipped some off now, would I disturb the plant from further development?

Also I have an idea to make a bird bath out of it. With cement and using the big leaves of the Gourd. Any idea how to go about? Thanks. It's a really big plant.

I've out a lot of time and money into trying to have a good lawn but my neighbor has Foxtail growing and it is not popping up in my yard. Do weeds put off a seed that is blown in the wind and carried over? I ask because I am writing a newsletter for the home owners association and would like to explain to those with bad lawns how they are affecting the rest of us.

When watering my plants a flurry of flea sized white bugs came flying out from under the leaves? Does anybody have a clue what they are and do I need to get rid of them? (As of yet the only damage to the plant seems to be mold on some leaves do to evening rain everynight?) As they are vegetable plants, (well are supposed to be, none of my veggies plants are producing fruit yet, but thats a whole different problem, lol...) Any remidies would have to be natural. I'm open to all suggestions!
