I heard that if you make a tea from it and just have a little sip you can tell if it is poison if it is really bitter. I tried it and it seems to have worked. Has anyone else heard or tried this?

I dry a little then sprinkle it on some ice cream for the neighbourhood kids......

If I hear that little Timmy has been hospitalized then mystery solved!

ummm, I don't think so. Just because it's bitter does not mean it is poisonous. I mean, some veggies are bitter, but they are not poisonous. Also, some people can't even taste bitter. Besides, that is just a little dangerous. Here's an example: Carolina Jessamine is deadly poisonous and only one flower can kill something that weighs as much as 40lbs and I don't think it is bitter of course I don't know that for sure because...I'M NOT CRAZY ENOUGH TO TRY IT. I would suggest that you research the plant in question to see if it is poisonous or not. There is the wonderful thing called the Internet and you can find just about any info. you need lickety-split.

Anyone that would make a concoction and not know if it is poisonous and proceed to drink it is searching the answer for another reason. Open the link and do your research.

That sounds like a pretty retarded method. Get the ppl in the Botany section to identify the plant and then look it up online.
