I have bamboo shoots in a vase . I was told to change water once in 15 days i have been doing but r dying?

Even though it isn't true bamboo it is quite beautiful. Unfortunately mine didn't make it and I have well water..

Are you using tap water from the faucet or bottled spring or distilled water? From what I understand they are sensitive to the chemicals and chlorine in tap water.
