Ok, I live in a trailer and it has this horrible dark wood panneling for walls. We are looking to repanel. Is it something someone can do themselves with out professional help? Is it relitively easy? I've looked on the diy websites and I have been unable to find an articles explaining the process.

I need 2 linear feet of 8", schedule 40, PVC pipe for a project. While I live in the SF Bay Area and would ideally like to pick it up, having it shipped to me would also be ok. Most places I have found only want to sell me 20 foot lengths, which is way more than I need. Any help finding a supplier would be appreciated.

5 3/4" 4'x8' sheets of plywood - One for the side cut template, and 4 for the usable side cuts
1 1/2" 4'x8' sheet of plywood - For the platforms
8 3/8" 4'x8' sheets of plywood - For the first two underlying layers of the skating surface
4 1/4" 4'x8' sheets of best quality sanded plywood - For the final skating surface layer; Alternatively I could have used Skatelite, Polyboard, Rampskin, etc., but I chose to go with plywood for this ramp which would always be indoors
2 8' sections of 1 1/2"-2 3/8" Galvanized steel pipe - For the coping; The kind I used is the silver kind commonly used for fence posts
4 boxes of 1 5/8" Wood Screws - Skate Surface Layer Attachment
2 boxes of 2 1/2" Wood Screws - Joist/2x4 Rib Attachment
41 8' Sections of 2x4 - Joists/Ribs
1 Bar Of Soap - For coating wood screws
10 2" Long 1/2" Bolts - For bolting transition structures together
12 4" Long 1/2" Bolts - For bolting flat bottom to transition structures
22 1/2" Nuts
44 1/2" Washers
8 3/16" x 3" Toggle Bolts
8 3/16" Washers
Wood Shims - (optional: I used them to keep my ramp from wobbling on the nearly flat, but imperfect floor of my garage)

I am getting ready to attempt a first time do-it-myself interior paint job in my apartment. Any help or advice would be much appreciated! I am trying to figure out if there is an odorless paint on the market I can purchase for this project due to my children being in the home when I am painting. If there is such paint, where do I find it? Once I find it what kind should I get? Glossy, Matte, Satin... is price the only difference or is quality an issue? What type of paint is it that you notice pealing off like dead skin, that kind I surely don't want to use? Will any brand of paint be okay to use (purchased at a discount store like Big Lots)? I am not looking for perfection or a million dollar appearance, just want to get rid of the pastel green walls. Thanks for your time and help!

I don't want to buy the full socket - just the cover. You used to be able to buy screw on covers in Homebase, but they don't seem to do them anymore. I'm based in the Uk.

MY EAVESTROUGH PICTURE: http://hidebehind.com/9CDA75

A contractor recently installed eavestrough to my entire home but noticed that a number of the troughs are extending past its fascia board (extending past the house) and into the air..is that normal? Or was he suppose to cut it to match the full length of the board (so as to not extend past the house)....

Are there consequences of having an extra long eavestrough?

THanks

My conservatory is quite large & in the summer it is very hot ( Though not had too much trouble so far this year!) But in the winter its so cold especially when the sun starts to go down. It seems such a waste of space for a large part of the year. Other than under tile floor heating or radiators etc anyone got any other ideas (economical ones)....... I'd thought of a wood burning stove or similar but not sure how practical that would be..........Any ideas?
