I was filling up the gas can for the tractor and the attendant (NJ) did not secure the lid on the container. Now my SUV smells of gasoline. How do I clean this?

My wife wants to paint them white. She thinks that oak is dated. I kind of see her point. I want to leave them natural though. They are light in color. Our appliances are stainless. We are going to paint the walls a nuetral green that almost looks like a light grey. If we keep the cabinets the natural color, what color floors (tile) and countertops should we have. I was thinking dark, like charcoal. I would like to know what you think.

Especially, the metal tools like spades, pruning scissors, etc. which may have some rust. Is there a way I can sharpen their edges myself?

I'm a financial advisor and currently the office is painted a very pale gray (almost white.) It's boring, but what other colors can I get away with?

It's one of those little half-size dishwashers. There's a pool of water at the bottom inside. Not leaking yet, but I'm concerned. What to do?

I have a stump in my yard and wild mushrooms grow around it constantly! It rains, mushrooms shoot up - I mow the yard - mushrooms shoot up. The mushrooms are starting to grow all over the yard now.

Because of the hardware, I have to remove the doors, I want to paint them, all surfaces, all at once but can't decide how to place them so I don't ruin the paint. I think I should paint them all sides at once so the melamine paint seals all around.

Are there any natural ways to kick foxes out of your garden like black pepper or something ? They are digging up bits of my garden and generally screaming like a child being boiled in oil.

Any tips ? and yes I am aware I can shhot them on my own property but i was hoping for something a little less murderous.

Thanks

I have a dirt devil bagless vacuum. I have cleaned the filters. checked the hoses. I called vacuum service center and they said to try a new belt. What would a belt have to do with the sucktion?

I won't pay more than $200.00 for a vacuum. The one I have I bought a year ago. for $100.00 work great for about 9 months.

I also have 2 dogs. The vacuum center said bagless vacuums are not good for animals.

I have also heard that the canisters are better.

PLEASE HELP!

I am sick and tired of plunging toilets -- even brand new ones. No matter how much we try .. they still plug up.

Now we are building and want to find toilets that won't do this ... truthfully, I would forgo the water wise kind for that which flushes like crazy.

Any helpful suggestions on what types to look at and consider?

Thanks!
