Is there any downside or benefits to rural water and septic tank sewer? We're looking at a house in the country that has these features.

As far as I know, the roof doesn't have any major repairs that need to be done, like leaks or holes. But it is obvious that repairs must have been completed during the 2004 hurricane season because the shingles covering that section are lighter in color than the rest.

The question is what are the signs that the roof needs to be redone and what are the differences between reroofing and reshingling?

the bladder on the blue tank is bad --i have had poor pressure in the house the last several months and my electric bills are higher and my pump mightr be 14 years old and was told that the prooppellers might be bad on the pump--im not sure if i shoud change the blue tank--see if pressure returns--which it would or change everything including pump---

My patio is open and lately a sworm (about 30) of flies linger around there. They are on the brick, furniture, and flying in circles. I have checked the yard for feces, rotten food, dead animals and have found nothing. We didn't have this problem last year. I am about to host a babyshower on the patio and don't want sticky traps hanging down. Is there anything else I can use??

The growth is wonderful, attaining about 2 1/2 feet with plentiful fronds to snip the herb. I use it plenty, and also harvest the tasty seeds that work well in my homemade bread recipes and curries. But I've been trying to harvest a fennel bulb to roast and there is no such bulb! I don't see a bulb, just roots. Is bronze fennel not the right herb and I need just the straightforward 'fennel'?
