I have a Bissell steam cleaner and use quality carpet shampoo. I also pre-treat. It looks clean right after shampooing, but within a week or so, it looks worse and worse! I have Dupont Stainmaster carpet - top of the line stuff.

I have a beautiful "patio" tomato plant, it has quite a few tomatoes on the plant and two have become ripe..... the problem is the tomatoes are mushy inside and the skin is a little tough. They are definitely not sitting on the vine to long as we watch them carefully....are there any experts in the tomato plants out there??

Do you just use soapy water, or is there something that will leave the leaves looking shiny? I don't have a green thumb, so I have about 5 fake trees and tons of plastic plants, and they're all in need of serious dusting/cleaning.

Potato seeds were last year crop grown in next door by a friend. Planted at Easter - tops are green - plants were sprayed with Sevin to reduce potatoe bugs - no insects on plants now. Decided to begin havest as we were hungry for fresh potatoes. The smaller ones to not have the grey spot inside. The spot appears the size of a nickel or a quarter. They taste just fine and no side effects were noted after eating. A friend stated the spot is due to fast growth and that eventually this grey spot would become hollow and also that a red potato with shis condition does not store well. I also planted 3 other late varieties bu have not dug any yet - will they also have grey center spots?
