I agree with cats and mongoose. Moth balls or sulpher will not stop a snake that goes up a tree/bldg and falls down inside the sulpher barrier.Or do all three!

You need lots of mothballs! Spread them around your property. Most importantly, spread them around and underneath the house to keep the snakes outside.

You can also use sulfer, but I have always been afraid of that. "They say" that a snake won't cross sulfer. I was always afraid they would come inside, rather than cross the sulfer. Thus, I use lots and lots of mothballs. Snakes do not like them, and they also ward off wasps.

you must get rid of the food they eat. probably mice but if the food goes the snakes go.
