I want to learn about woodworking, etc. I want to build things, from little boxes to a kitchen table, or even a house! But, of course I want to start small. Is there a book, instructional dvd that is best? OR should I just be an apprentice somewhere (Which I dont have time for) Any equipment you recommend? I'd really appreciate your answers!

I'm building a shed with pressure treated flooring. I was told that I could not place kiln dried framing on the pressured treated floor because it would rot the wood.

I need to get rid of an old cruddy grapefruit tree, but I can not cut it down. The tree it self looks horrible and the fruit is just bad, it tastes terrible, very acidic and has a huge amount of seeds in it. In addition, the fruit falls all over the place, rots and attracts insects and even some wierd looking rat like creature. Is there anything available that can kill off this tree?

I can never get my sponge mops clean just rinsing in the sink. Something that could go in the dishwasher would be perfect.

It says it's a mix of wildflowers, but there are no other instructions. I'd like to plant them for my kids in memory of our dog that died.

How much would 120ft of 4in pvc pipe cost? It doesn't matter how big the sections are just whatever the cheapest way to get that much pipe is.
