I can never get my sponge mops clean just rinsing in the sink. Something that could go in the dishwasher would be perfect.

ive never heard of those kind of mops. if you dont have a large area to mop try the swiffer sweeper..you can just throw the pad away when youre done.

I do not know why you would be using the mop in the dishwasher; but you can clean any mop with a good detergent in a bucket, tub or even a clothes washer machine.

Other than plastic sponges, do you know what mops are made of? Cotton! Do you know how long cotton is? It is spun into a yarn. Can you imagine what a dishwasher would do to that cotton mop? Can you picture your dishwasher covered in cotton bits and pieces?
Try it in a clothes washer. Some one elses first. Let us know.

Dishes /sponge mop / hey buddy mops are for the floor and dishes are for eating on the table ,what`s with that?

yuk .. mop in the DISHwasher!! I hope you meant to say LAUNDRY washer, yes? Bleach would do the trick.
